Our intensive and engaging one week course offers students a unique experience, adding to their arsenal of legal knowledge and eventual legal careers. A tapestry of theoretical and practical style learning provides students with an invaluable experience before embarking onto the next stage of their careers. The law course is held in the prestigious Middle Temple, which is currently celebrating its 450th year of Hall.

  • • Five days of lectures at the prestigious Middle Temple.

    • Lectures on a variety of practice areas including crime, commercial, corporate, human rights and civil matters for example immigration. This is something students can talk about in UCAS applications, and job interviews to evidence interest in a type of law. This also exposes students to the type of teaching they will receive at university.

    • Completion of a research project, similar to the kinds of projects students will be expected to do at university. Students will present this research at the end to the group which develops public speaking skills.

  • • Developing essential skills such as public speaking, developing arguments and debating

    • A mock criminal trial in the a senior Court. The opportunity to deliver arguments in a real courtroom is invaluable, and this is something that would stand out on university applications.

  • • Visits from senior barristers and solicitors including Judges and King’s Counsel

    • This is an opportunity to network, and hear from people who are in the legal profession.

  • • Workshops focused on university applications and interviews

    • Talks from recent law graduates to consider life as a law student

  • • Trips to the best of legal London to explore the realities of working in law, including a tour of the Supreme Court and the House of Commons

  • • Boardroom style refreshments during breaks

    • Lunch provided each day

    • Special lunch hosted in Middle Temple Hall at end of course
